he W90 is an advanced yet stylish and easy to use camera, with 8.1 effective megapixels, Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar® 3x optical zoom lens and a large 2.5 inch LCD screen to preview shots. The W90 has a stylish metal finish and comes in both stylish silver and sleek black.
The W90 features full HD quality connectivity, still images can be enjoyed with the highest possible quality on any BRAVIA television or HD-ready display (requires optional connection cable or HD docking station) offering users the ability to print stunning images or even enjoy them time and time again.
Double Anti-Blur technology ensures the W90 will capture blur free images regardless of your surroundings. Both also feature the technology to take high quality images even in low light conditions without flash.
Sony’s unique Face Detection technology enables the camera to recognise and track up to eight human faces in any scene, automatically optimising focus, exposure, flash and other settings for beautiful portraits and group shots under any conditions – even in low light or with moving subjects.

To fully enjoy the High Definition experience use the optional Cyber-shot station CSS-HD1 - just place the camera into the station for real HD slideshows. The station will also charge your camera and comes supplied with all the necessary connectors and a remote control for maximum ease of use.
Another affordable option for the full HD experience is the VMC-MHC1 cable which plugs directly into the W90 and allows for Full HD playback. Other optional accessories include a range of high quality genuine leather cases in a variety of colours to match your camera and personality. Also available is a spare Lithium Ion rechargeable batteries (NP-BG1), and a Marine Pack for use up to 40m underwater (MPK-WB).
