The DSC-T30 is Sony’s sleekest ultra-slim design -- an amazing demonstration of how much image resolution and high-tech performance can be incorporated in a camera that’s only about the size of a credit card.

Slide Show with Select Music Playback¹
View in-camera images in Slide Show sequence, with one-button operation, selectable transition effects and up to four music background tracks¹ that make it more entertaining to share your memories with family and friends. You can even use supplied Picture Package Music Transfer software to add your own favorite music.

7.2 Megapixel Super HAD™ CCD
It’s another step up in megapixel performance, giving each photo greater detail when you make large prints and view pictures on big-screen TVs -- with Sony’s advanced Super HAD (Hole Accumulated Diode) CCD design that allows more light to pass to each pixel, increasing sensitivity and reducing noise.

Super SteadyShot® Optical Image Stabilization
To compensate for shaky hands, Sony’s Super SteadyShot® system detects camera movement and sends correcting signals to a stabilization lens to reduce image blur -- a real advantage when shooting in low light with such a small camera.

Sharp, Clear Photos Without Flash
The DSC-T30 provides High Sensitivity Mode (ISO 1000) to let you shoot in low light without flash to preserve the mood or capture great shots in locations where flash is not permitted. Sony’s Clear RAW™ Noise Reduction system also counter the picture noise traditionally associated with high ISO imaging -- and with Sony’s Super SteadyShot® system to compensate for camera shake, you’ll be able to get great results with a wide range of subjects and lighting conditions.

With 58 MB Internal Memory, the DSC-T30 allows you to shoot photos without a flash memory card -- so you can always get your shot even if you forgot your card. NUMBER OF IMAGES STORED ON A DIGITAL CARD

The number of pictures you can take varies depending on your camera model and complexity of the scene being photographed. To calculate how many pictures your card can hold, divide the capacity of your card by the average file size of your images. For example, if you have a 256MB card, and use a camera that has an average file size of 1.2MB, then 256 divided by 1.2 gives you approximately 213 pictures. As you change modes on your camera, the number of images will increase if you shoot in a lower resolution mode, and decrease if you shoot in a higher resolution mode.

MEGAPIXELS AND PHOTO PRINT SIZE

The photo print quality of your images depends on the camera's "megapixel rating." The higher number of pixels your camera has, the higher the resolution (or sharpness) of your images---and the larger your prints can be without quality loss.
