| To meet new market demands for high capacity storage in ever-shrinking portable digital devices. NCP introduces the world's smallest flash card which weighs less than 1 gram and is about half the size of a postage stamp. NCP RS-MMC Cards are compatible with all digital cameras, digital video camcorders, audio players, new multi-function smart phones and other portable devices. The RS-MMC Card is electrically compatible with the existing MMC standard and runs on the same bus. As an extension of the existing MMC Card standard, the RS-MMC also allows mobile phone and consumer electronics developers to leverage their current MMC-based designs with no changes to software or electronics. This also allows for very low cost adapters that convert the RS-MMC Card into the MMC form factor. The adapter allows the RS-MMC to fit into existing MMC or SD Card slots, and thereby provide compatibility with the rapidly growing number of MMC/SD compatible devices in the market. |
