Windows 98/98SE
1. Start your computer.
2. Insert the software driver CD into your CD-ROM drive.
3. Wait for the pop-up menu to appear. If the pop-up menu does not appear,
double-click on the "My Computer" icon on your desktop. Then double-click on the
"CD-ROM Drive" icon, and select autorun.exe.
4. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the setup program, and then
restart your computer.
5. Connect the card reader to the USB port on your computer. Make sure that all
the cables are securely connected.
6. The card reader icon will now appear when you double-click on "My Computer."
Windows Me/XP
NOTE: No software driver is required for these operating
systems.

2. Connect the card reader to the USB port on your computer. Make sure that all
the cables are securely connected.
3. The card reader icon will now appear when you double-click on "My Computer."
Windows 2000
Single-Slot Card Readers
No software is required for this operating system when using a single-slot card
reader. Follow the installation instructions for Windows ME/XP.
Multi-Slot Card Readers
If you have Service Pack 3 installed, software drivers are not
required and you should follow the installation instructions for Windows Me/XP.
If you have Service Pack 1 or 2 installed, follow the installation instructions
for Windows 98/98 SE.
To find your service pack version:
1. Double-click on the “My Computer” icon on your desktop.
2. Double-click on the “Control Panel” icon.
3. Double-click on the “System” icon.
4. Click on the “General” tab.
5. You should see a description of your computer that includes a section labeled
“System.” Under this section you should see “Microsoft Windows 2000” followed by
the service pack version number.
Macintosh
Single-Slot Card Readers
1. Start your computer.
2. Plug the card reader into the USB port.
3. Slide the flash memory card into the card reader.
4. The card reader will be recognized as an "Untitled" drive icon on the screen.
Multi-Slot Card Readers
1. Insert the software driver CD into your CD-ROM drive.
2. The “Reader” icon will appear.
3. Double-click on the “Reader” icon to install the drivers.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
5. Restart your computer.
6. Plug the card reader into the USB port.
7. Slide the flash memory card into the card reader.
8. The card reader will be recognized as the “Untitled” drive icon on the
screen.
NOTE: If you are installing a card reader in a Macintosh system,
note the following:
1. Always move the “Untitled” drive icon into your trash can
before you remove the flash card from the card reader, or unplug the card reader
from the USB slot.
2. If your computer does not respond, unplug the card reader, and remove the
flash card. Then restart your computer. When your computer comes on, first
install the card reader, and then insert the flash memory card into the card
reader.
3. You might experience compatibility problems when you format the flash memory
card in your Macintoshcomputer. Use your digital device to format the flash
memory card.
